Cougar Robotics is a student-driven team with one mission: to promote science, technology, engineering and mathematics in the community.
In the fields of science, technology, engineering and math (STEM), the United States will need approximately 24 million graduates by 2018, and the current educational system is geared to provide only 19 million graduates. This disparity earned the United States a “D” grade from the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development. By making science exciting and rewarding, Cougar Robotics aims to attract and retain interest among future generations and train them towards successful careers.
